Launch of the Lao Digital Immigration Form (LDIF)

The Department of Immigration will introduce the new Lao Digital Immigration Form (LDIF) to streamline border procedures. Starting on 1 September 2025, all foreign nationals and stateless travelers using passports must complete the LDIF online before entering or departing Laos. The LDIF will be implemented at Wattay International Airport, Luang Prabang International Airport, Pakse International Airport, and the Lao–Thai Friendship Bridge I. Travelers are required to register through the official portal at Immigration Portal.
